Placement of Cubicles
INSTRUCTIONS FOR INSTALLATION OF CYBOLITH
Compared to other flooring materials, the Cyboliths they have the advantage of being placed on top of a layer of sand. This makes it easier to install them, train them in a fast way and save on costs. In addition, this method allows for easy removal of the pavers if underground work needs to be carried out in the future, such as laying cables or conduits.
For installation to be possible, it is required that the ground is stable, hard, and compacted, without anything in the way. In case the ground is soft, it is required to restore it with a screed (30-70 mm), after pressing with a paver and creating a background of 3A. Examples of typical soils that can be used for pavers include concrete, soil and asphalt.
Below we provide a simplified explanation of how to install the cybolites. However, if you are aiming for high aesthetic performance and build quality, we recommend that you seek the help of a professional manufacturer or seek our advice.
STEP 1: CONSTRUCTION OF SUBBASE
the subject that will be used for the disposition of of cubic stones, apply a layer of 3A with a thickness of at least 10 cm. Then wet the surface and compact it using a paver. Note that you need to adjust the slopes of the ground to facilitate the drainage of rainwater.
STEP 2: INSTALL CURB
"Encasement" is necessary in all projects with cubic blocks, as it prevents them from splitting. To do it, follow the steps below:
- First, dig a trench 10-15 cm deep and 15-20 cm wide.
- Calculate the height of the curb (or curb) from the laid and compacted surface, so that it is 10 – 12 cm.
- If you use curbs, level them and secure them with cement mortar.
This process will ensure that the blocks will stay in place and not scatter during the project.
STEP 3: SAND LAYING
Before placing the of cubic stones, proceed to the next step:
- Place a layer of crushed sand (quarry) on the surface where the pavers will be placed.
- Using screeds, smooth the sand and create suitable slopes in the direction of rainwater runoff.
These steps will ensure a good base for the cobblestones and help maintain stability and drainage during the project.

STEP 4: CUTTING CYBOLES
- Using a ruler, measure it cube that you want to cut and mark the cut point.
- Select the appropriate tool for cutting the cube. You can use a water cutter, a stone cutting wheel (spindle) or a special pebble cutter, depending on the tools you have available.
- Cut him off cube at the point you have marked, using the selected tool. Make sure the cut is smooth and that the cut part fits the gap you want to fill.
- Place the cut cube into the gap at the edges, pressing it carefully. Wedge it firmly so that it is firmly in place.
This process will allow you to adjust the blocks to the desired position and create a smooth and aligned finish.
STEP 5: VIBRATION
To complete the installation of the cubes, follow these steps:
1. Spread dry sea sand over the placed blocks. This sand will help seal the joints together and give the floor an even finish.
2. Use a broom to sweep the sand into the joints between the blocks. This process will help stabilize the blocks and create a solid floor.
3. Use a slab vibrator to vibrate the floor. This will help eliminate any gaps in the sanding and ensure the tiles are firmly in place.
4. Your floor is now finished and ready to use.
These steps will help you create a beautiful and functional flagstone floor.
